The aim of the Cardano blockchain is to provide self custody to ones financial assets and to facilitate peer-to-peer transactions of many digital currencies, without the requirement of a third party such as a bank. Next to financial value, the Cardano blockchain can provide a self-sovereign, digital identity to all its users. Credentials can now be verifiable, which enables trust between the parties involved.
World Mobile
Imagine living in a world where there is no access to e-mail, text messaging, healthcare, online education or financial services.
Unfortunately, this is a reality for more than 3 billion people which are not connected to the internet. Traditional mobile network operators cannot connect these people as it is not possible to build and maintain their conventional network infrastructure.
A hybrid network, using several different technologies, as well as the utilization of the sharing economy model, will solve this. World Mobile is the first mobile network operator that uses this solution. In addition, it is built using the Cardano blockchain technology and renewable energy.
Besides the connectivity provided by World Mobile, its platform also provides other benefits such as a digital identity. This digital identify will be the basis for healthcare, education, banking and more.

Terra Nexus
Terra Nexus is a Faction of Node Operators that participates in the sharing economy model by operating Earth Nodes and providing Air Nodes for World Mobile, located in many places around the globe.
Earth Nodes and Air Nodes together form the nervous system of the World Mobile Network as they provide safe transactions, identity, telecommunication services and much more. Terra Nexus is dedicated to secure the network and support fast transactions with solid systems.

By delegation to one of our Earth Nodes, you become part of our effort to secure the network and provide services to the people. Even so, you will be rewarded for your stake in the total delegation amount.
In addition, Terra Nexus will financially support the set-up of new Air Nodes as these are the direct access points that connect the unconnected.
Currently, delegating WMT is not possible as the World Mobile Network is still under development.

“When will I be able to delegate my stake to a Terra Nexus Earth Node?”
As of now, the World Mobile Network is still under development. An initial testing phase with Earth Nodes is currently ongoing. It is expected that Testnet will take place until Q3 2023. Mainnet will follow thereafter.
